Experts OnDemand: Digitising Sockets for the future - Ottobock's TF Design Software
This course is part of our Experts OnDemand series.
Description
Using a hand casting method of limb capture for the Ischial Containment socket design often proves to be one of the more complex and time consuming elements of prosthesis production. CAD CAM technologies provide an alternative method that introduces benefits to the Prosthetist and end user. In this Live webinar, you will be introduced to Ottobock’s TF Design software, a free software program that is simple and effective in producing check sockets for your transfemoral users.
Objectives
After successfully completing this training, attendees will be able to:
• Participants will be introduced to the benefits of TF design for the user and clinician
• Gain an understanding of socket brim designs and appropriate use
• Measurement techniques for successful socket fit
• Modification and understanding of the use of ‘patches’ to customise the socket
• Ordering processes and ease of business
